One-Liner Wednesday: Concession

Sara has been trying to get me to watch Netflix’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events. I loved the books, HATED the Jim Carrey movie, and hated the first one and a half episodes of the series. Count Olaf’s attitude toward the child, Violet, was soooo creepy. But Sara told me to stick with it, that it stopped being like that at the third episode.

So I gave it another try, and now I’m addicted to it. So I told her. So she said, because she is ever gracious, “Ha! TOLD YOU!”

I could only respond with a phrase passed down to me from Charlie’s Aunt Ora Mae:

You’re right I’m wrong you’ll hush.
