As others in the Thursday Doors group sometimes do, I went scrounging for doors in my old picture files. Some of these may have been posted before and some not, but they’re doorish, so here they are:
A friend of mine used to live in a Lustron house in a mildly Storybook Style neighborhood, and I got a picture of one of her neighbors’ cat slide roof.

You can catch a glimpse of our front door behind this snowbaby, made in a winter in which we had a little snow. We used to always have snow in the winter, but now it’s hit or miss.

Here is one of the dorms I lived in when I went to Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. This one is Sullivan Hall.

And here is my #4 Daughter, the amazing Sara Marian. I’m not sure where she is or who took the picture, but she’s wearing her archaeology hat. Wait — that may be the door to one of the many top-floor apartments she’s lived in, and the photographer may have been moi. She’s still wearing a hat.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: A door to or from the past.

March 20, 2023 at 8:37amWe’re having a week of hard freezes. I’m like, if it has to be cold, at least it could be pretty, right?
