Food Tuesday: Flipdaddy’s Afterparty

#FoodTuesday @flipdaddys #CookingWithLeftovers #writingprompt

Charlie always hated to order food and be served gigantic portions. He said the overabundance made him feel sick, just looking at it.

I totally get that, but an overabundance makes my eyes light up and my raccoon heart think: LEFTOVERS!

Now, I have to apologize to everybody who doesn’t have a Flipdaddy’s near you, but it is what it is. I Door Dashed fries and chili (the only restaurant chili I ever had that tastes like homemade), and had lots left over. So this happened:

OMG. SO GOOD! **insert pig noises here**

I love leftovers as well! Once upon a time they’d end up being thrown out. These days we either have them for lunch the next day, or I use them to kick start an idea for dinner. Good stuff. šŸ˜€

There was a cooking show on for a season where the contestants were given leftovers and had to turn them into gourmet dishes. Naturally, I loved it!

Chili fries FTW! There used to be a diner chain called A&W that had carhops (remember carhops?) and they had the BEST chili fries!

I remember A&W. We didn’t have them in Pittsburgh, but they had them somewhere that I lived (maybe here). Some say, A&W invented the ice cream float.
