On the recommendation of my longest-running friend, Beth Johnson, I watched Lake Placid. I watched it on Netflix, but it’s available elsewhere. The trailer makes it look like a thriller, but it’s pretty much pure humor with the occasional jump not-scare. Oliver Platt. Betty White. Must see. “The cow disappoints me” is now one of my favorite lines in movie history.

I did my second fall mani. The base color is bright blue, pretty much the color of today’s sky. I stamped with dark red, yellow, and dark brown.

I haven’t seen Lake Placid in forever. I might have to watch it again.

Cool nails. I sometimes forget how beautiful the sky is in autumn.
