Have I mentioned how much I love Indian food? Yeah, I thought I had.
I made some, which I’ll share in my food posts this coming week. Sadly, Charlie can’t tolerate spicy food, so I have to be careful how I make it, and it isn’t as good as it should be, but even mediocre Indian food is pretty good food!
Here are a couple of great recipe sites:
Bindia is an Indian restaurant in Denmark. They have a fabulous and informative website with, among other things, marvelous recipes. How generous is that??
I’m pretty certain I’ve recommended Foodaholic before, but it bears repeating. Foodaholic features Pakistani food and culture, and has a Cooking With Kids feature, which is just about my speed. I believe I could actually manage these chocolate baklava cigars, yo.
3D printers blow me away. This one blows me totally outa the water. It prints a combination of dirt, water, and seeds into a customizable shape. Imagine tucking I love you; will you marry me? into your sweetheart’s front yard to ask your question for you. Or imagine moving in the fall and leaving your rotten now-ex-neighbor a farewell message of Fuck You spelled out in dandelions.
Finally, apropos of nothing except my new Minecraft (game) obsession and my Indian food obsession, I give you this. You’re welcome.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Did anybody cook with you when you were a kid? Did your main character have anything to do with kitchen work/craft?

That was Felicia Day, from Supernatural.
Sadly, she has joined the ranks of deceased characters.
OK, there’s always flashbacks. It’s supernatural, after all.
Bollywood episodes of favorite shows … just think about it.

Firefly … Inara is already there.
Ah, dear Dark Shadows, where being dead didn’t mean you weren’t in the show anymore….
