We have a winner in the EEL’S REVERENCE contest! I’ve contacted the first winner drawn using Random.Org. When she has chosen her prize, the second winner will be contacted by email to choose from the remaining prizes. I may even issue consolation prizes to the remaining entrants.
In addition to the winners, Karen Overturf did so much to help promote the book, she got so many entries I just took her right out of the contest–she wanted naming rights for a character in my upcoming short story to promote FORCE OF HABIT, so she’s got it, in addition to whoever chooses that as a prize. So one of the characters will be named Kurt Maxxon.
THE WINNERS (in order of drawing)
- Carol Preflatish
- Patricia Stoltey
- Holly Jahangiri
- Inanna
- Sarah Combs
Congratulations! As I said, I’ll be contacting each of you by email as prizes are taken, and I’ll be considering that consolation prize.
WRITING PROMPT: A character loses a contest but likes the unexpected consolation prize better than the prize he/she entered to win.
