Back in April of 2014, I attended an honor society induction for our #4 Daughter, the fabulous Sara Marian. It was held in The Red Barn on the University of Louisville Belknap Campus.
Many — oh, MANY — years ago, I belonged to The Barony of the Flame in The Middle Kingdom of the Society for Creative Anachronism (Maude McEwan, Poet Lady). The Flame held most of its events at that time in The Red Barn, which was then off-campus.
Here’s the interior:See that man in the foreground? That’s Charlie, my ever-lovin’ husband. Now, see that really bright, almost rectangular patch of light? Right about there is pretty much where I slept during events. On, like, blankets and stuff, but still.
