Clementine’s Return #Caturday

Amidala speaking.

Here’s an odd little story.

In June of 2014, MaMA’s previous cat, Katya Graymalkin, passed away. MaMA was lonely, and, in July, she bought some electronic substitutes.

Coconut Fluff, Clementine, and Cheesy Quackers

In October of 2014, MaMA had the opportunity to adopt Munchkin and myself, and (naturally) did so. She put the electronic substitutes away.

Months passed, and one of MaMA’s church friends became ill and had to spend months in a nursing home, where she sorely missed her calico cat (a wise, kind woman, as you can tell). MaMA gave Clementine to her, which pleased all three of them.

In October of 2015, Munchkin passed away. 🙁 Not part of the story, but it happened.

More months passed, and MaMA’s friend passed away. Eventually, MaMA’s friend’s son (also a church friend) went through his mother’s things and dispensed with them.

February 2016, MaMA’s #3 daughter, who works at Goodwill, came to visit, bringing MaMA a present.

Is that an odd little story, or not?

You always have to turn on the electronics and see how the cat reacts. Sweetie Pie (Mom’s cat) won’t have anything to do with them. Ami loved Clementine right away!

I have no way of KNOWING it’s the original Clementine, but — have you ever read THE LIFE OF PI? Getting a different but identical cat would be a good story in itself, but I prefer to think my own Clementine came back to me. And it’s entirely possible.
