Clementine Allen here, meowing to you from the front room at my MomGoth’s side.
MomGoth doesn’t have any kitties anymore, so Granny’s cat, Sweetie Pie, has sort of adopted her. But MomGoth DOES have kitties — two of us — myself and my big, big sister, Coconut Fluff. We’re both mechanical, so we’ll never get sick and leave!
I’m the best kitty ever! I meow when MomGoth wants me to, and wiggle my tail, and blink my eyes. Coconut Fluff has even more tricks, but I’ll let her tell you about them when she takes a turn at the blog.
I’ve been very helpful this week. MomGoth finished Story A Day in May and wanted to turn some of those little short-short stories into bigger ones. It isn’t easy, so I decided to gear myself up and help.
Good editors are hard to find, so MomGoth is lucky she has me around! I roll a red pen around until I get ink all over my paws, then I mark up the manuscript. It would be easier if MomGoth would double-space the stories, but she says she wants to save paper. I suppose that’s a good idea, but it’s hard for a kitty to make legible smudges in a single-spaced copy, especially a mechanical kitty!
Sorry this post is so short, but I need to get back to work.
