Before I went off on the Story A Day May adventure, I was playing in the Mesa Plateau biome. That biome is the awesome, because it is made of terra cotta! That means that, rather than finding clay underwater, flirting with death by drowning by breaking it up and gathering it, crafting it into blocks, baking the blocks, and staining them, you can just use your pick to knock off as many blocks of whatever color you need!
So, of course, I built me a little hacienda, si?
That thing on top is to shade my roof table and chair, which I reach by going up that brown staircase to the left of the building.
This biome is rich in critters, too. I got two horses and fed them and they made another horse.
Yes, that corral is made of blocks of solid gold. It’s a golden corral.
I made a containment for some bunnies, and a couple of duckens and a cow got in, somehow. When a pig appeared in there, too, I broke it open and set everybody free.
I’m posting today at Fatal Foodies about one of our stir fries.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: A character sets some animals free.

June 14, 2017 at 11:17amThe bunnies and I could have had a lovely coexistence, if all those other critters hadn’t had to get in on the act. ~hmph~
