CoryDoors, Around and About #ThursdayDoors

Downtown Corydon is so pretty! Look at these pretty fronts.

And then we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, and I snapped this. Not a door, but a doorWAY. An arch, at an angle, with a mural on the wall inside it.

Then we went to the grocery, and I took a picture of one of my favorite peeps there (there’s a doorway in the background). This is Tresa. Tresa knows where every item in the store is. Tresa knows everthang! Alas, Tresa is going on extended leave to get her knee replaced and her carpal tunnel treated. But she’ll be back: JayC is holding her job for her. I love JayC.

On the way home, we saw this. Charlie said, “Why are there two?” And I said, “Awww, that’s sweet! The big one is training the little one.”

And we visited Juniper. This is the door to her house.

Thursday Doors is the brainchild of Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photos, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

Juniper’s door is pretty with that wreath. The bigger stop sign teaching the little stop sign how to be a sign is delightful.

Love the Stop sign in training! Good grocers are worth their weight in groceries, aren’t they! I do miss the people at my old market, but am working on having the same relationships at my new one.

We’re still on the hunt for a favorite Mexican place here. It’s a tasty hunt at least.

There’s nothing like going into a store and feeling you’re among friends.

Me, too! Charlie can’t handle things too spicy, though, so it’s hard to find what to get that suits us both. We manage. πŸ™‚

I’m another one who loved the stop signs. It always makes me smile to find something quirky like this.

Apparently, the little one is a slow learner, because it’s still there.
