My salads are kind of like my soups: Whatever. If I call it a pea salad, though, chances are good that it has peas in it.
This one is also called Seven-Layer Salad sometimes, except that I don’t always have seven layers, so mine is Whatever Layer Salad.
This one had, if I recall correctly:
- lettuce
- sliced carrots
- diced celery
- hard-boiled eggs
- shredded cheese
- frozen peas
- bacon crumbles
- mayonnaise
- different shredded/grated cheese
