Pictures of Pictures of Doors #ThursdayDoors

Back when people used to go out to places, I took pictures of any door photos or paintings or prints I ran across. Here are a few.

Okay, yes, even when I’m standing still, I take wockerjawed pictures.

And a photo of a photo of an elegant door.

Thursday doors is the brainchild of Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Approaching an elegant door. House optional.

“Wockerjawed” I like that. I also like the doors, especially the stone entrance thingie.

That stone entrance thingie is my favorite, too. I like passages, especially if you can see a bit through or above them.

I remember those time, the ones when we’d go out to places. sigh Not the point of your post, but I do like tangents– and your whopperjawed photos.

I like tangents, too, unless I’m trying to follow the thread of a conversation and the tangents have tangents. Yes, my late husband, I’m looking at YOU. 🙂 I often wished one could put a finger in a conversation to hold one’s place while the tangents fractilated. The tangents were always worth exploring, though, so there’s that.

I hear ‘ya. When I was younger I’d remember the thread of the conversation so tangents didn’t lead me astray like they do now.

Pictures of pictures of doors…wait, did I just step into the Matrix? 😀
Some nice one in there and I get to add a new word (wockerjawed) to my vocabulary too.

Yeah, getting a little meta, over here. If I don’t get out to snap some doors soon, I don’t know what!

Good idea to take photos of paintings of doors. I love the third one down.

We do what we must. I may yet be reduced to taking a picture of my oven door, if I haven’t done that already.

Oh! If you decide to, tell me, and I share mine as well. We’ll be the cool kids with hot doors 😉
