#GISH — Unicorns For Good #MondayRecommends #Nails

My internet friend kirizar of The Dust Season has long been a participant in GISH: the Great Internet Scavenger Hunt. GISH is hosted by the delightful and beautiful Misha Collins of Supernatural, and you KNOW how I am about Supernatural!

GISH is the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt, a Guinness World Record-setting experience designed to bring out the weird, creative, and adventurous sides of people while doing good. GISH combines creativity, art, fun, adventure, puzzles, cosplay, out-of-the-box thinking, and kindness for a week-long adventure unlike anything else as winners compete to win & make a difference in the world around them!

I decided I would join the mini-hunt that only lasted this past weekend. At first, I thought I wouldn’t do anything but observe, but I did a few of the items for my team. I mean, I joined the Unicorns, so I had to participate, right?

One of the things my team did is set up a Go Fund Me for Amazon Watch (the rainforest, not the giant corporation). Check out the fundraiser and, if you feel moved to do so, help the Unicorns purify water, as we are supposed to do.

My nails this week celebrate spring. Yes, the lines on my bird finger are woggley. Hire a lawyer. Sue me.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Write about a scavenger hunt.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.
