More FriendDoors From England #ThursdayDoors

#4 Daughter, the amazing Sara Marian, has been promising me door pictures for a month and hasn’t delivered. She will, just not yet. Real Soon.

But I still have a raft of pictures from England. Andrea may tell me what they’re of. If she does, I’ll put that in the comments.

Arches, arches, arches, and a nifty cabinet with doors.

I don’t think this is a corner door, but it’s a corner something, and sort of tower-y.

Fancy top of an arch.

Nifty tower, with the door blocked by an awesomely awesome car.

And, probably my favorite.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: It doesn’t look like a door, but it is.

I want that vehicle, too — well, one very like it, not THAT one. THAT one belongs to somebody else, and wanting theirs is one of the Thou Shalt Nots to which I particularly subscribe.

I am happy to wait for Sara’s doors – she usually delivers some good ones (but no pressure). I love that car (and it has doors, so…). I also really like your favorite. Those look like working doors with.a long history.

Andrea says: 2 is definitely Cambridge, the rest are all I think Hatfield House Hertfordshire, but 3 could be Cambridge, hard to tell just from the arch. 😉
