Thursday Doors: Open and Shut

#ThursdayDoors #writingprompt

And now, back to our regularly scheduled nonsense. I hope you enjoyed Teagan’s Christmas in July. Whether you did or not, I enjoyed it, and it’s my blog, so….

ANYWAY, I’ve been snapping doors as I could get to them, and here are a few.

There are a door and a ghost garage door in the foreground, and Bamboo Health just begged to be included.

Even rain cannot stop a doorista! Especially when the doorista is snug and dry inside a car.

When they say “No Parking,” they mean “No Parking”.

The reflected shirt says TEAM OXFORD COMMA

And, in the spirit of “everything is a door, if you look at it the right way,” this.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Seriously forbidden.

I like the photo you took from your dry car… the rain drops add a nice touch, distorting the image in an enchanting way.

Those are great doors! I love the photo in the rain, and the office cabinet and trash can. If it opens and closes, it’s a door. I’m kinda lackadaisical about rules.

    Hi, Marian.These are great doors.
Thanks very much for your Christmas in July posts. I’m delighted that you rose to the challenge– and in such grand style. I’m sorry to be behind on the posts. I’ve been having worse than usual Internet problems.. AGAIN. Honestly, the next time I’m able to move, my top requirements of a city will be cat vets and Internet. Anyhow, I appreciate you. Hugs.

It was fun digging through my old posts and remembering Christmas seasons past. Maybe I went a little overboard, but what’s life without the occasional excess? (How did Lulu get over here?)
