Thursday Doors: The Chinese Way

#ThursdayDoors #writingprompt

I did get out this week, but I didn’t get any door pictures, so I’m sharing some from CHINESE WATERCOLORS by Josef Hejzlar.

There are relatively few buildings in this book, and those there are are mere suggestions of buildings with mere suggestions of doors, but I found a few.

And a pavillion.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

I love all the paintings in this book. I wish this challenge were temporarily Thursday Horses, because there were some magnificent paintings of horses you could almost hear snort.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Looking at paintings.

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.
