If you haven’t seen the film, read about it here. There are several versions available. You can even see one with a fairy-tale-happy ending. The real one is better, though. Flat damn disturbing, but GOOD.

WRITING PROMPT: Write a scene in which a character has a strong reaction to ducts, positive or negative.

Hi. This is a great reference. Brazil was one of 2 Monty Python movies that literally crippled me laughing for the first 15-20 minutes of the show. I just couldn’t stop. I laughed til I cried. (The second was Meaning of Life.) I don’t believe you were able to attend the Brazil party at Rivercon, but ..well, shucks.. I supplied the ducts. The big one rose up out of the floor, extruded an arm, and both went back down into the floor. Hmm, wonder what happened to them….
