Mom left her camera lying around, so I decided to get with the program and take a selfie. Mom is always taking pictures of me, but I never let her get close enough to show the details, like my eyebrows, the way the fur outlines my eyes, the subtle mauve of my nose, or the understated sneer of which I’m so justly proud.

No matter how hard I try, and how many YouTube and Lynda.com videos I watch, I cannot save anything…The cartoonifying thingie is actually on my Android, which is what I take most of my pics with, because….guess it….I can’t figure how how to work my camera !!!

December 2, 2013 at 8:56amLOL! You’ve probably saved everything, but it saved as the GIMP’s native format and whatever you use to upload the picture doesn’t recognize it. Either that, or it saves it somewhere you wouldn’t ordinarily look. Instead of Save, try Save As.
I can only do little baby steps with GIMP. If there’s anything I need to do, I go online and search my question and then pick an answer I can understand!
