So a while back, there, I had a couple of projects to edit that gave me fits. Why? Because I’m lazy, and they were hard.
So the-e-en, I got one from a writer who always sends a clean, proof-read, manuscript that I only have to look at to catch inconsistencies and places where she thinks she’s ‘splained something, but I didn’t get it.
And I said,
Editing her book is like going down a water slide naked and covered in butter.
And it was, insofar as I can imagine such an activity. They didn’t have that at Fountain Ferry. (Yes, I know it’s Fontaine Ferry, but Fountain Ferry was what we called it, right?)

A WRITING PROMPT BASED ON MY POST: Write about an amusement park. Or butter.
