Editing Her Book #1LinerWeds

So a while back, there, I had a couple of projects to edit that gave me fits. Why? Because I’m lazy, and they were hard.

So the-e-en, I got one from a writer who always sends a clean, proof-read, manuscript that I only have to look at to catch inconsistencies and places where she thinks she’s ‘splained something, but I didn’t get it.

And I said,

Editing her book is like going down a water slide naked and covered in butter.

And it was, insofar as I can imagine such an activity. They didn’t have that at Fountain Ferry. (Yes, I know it’s Fontaine Ferry, but Fountain Ferry was what we called it, right?)

This post is part of Linda G. Hill’s weekly blog hop, One-Liner Wednesday. If you have a one-liner or just like them, follow this link.

A WRITING PROMPT BASED ON MY POST: Write about an amusement park. Or butter.

It was a metaphorical waterslide. And it would take about fifty pounds of actual butter or ten pounds metaphorical.

If I knew how, Pete, I would cut you a World’s Greatest Spammer medal. Maybe you could have a coffee mug made?

It is because when I was young, Klick, Kam, and Spam were my favourite lunch meats. I then outgrew this, and moved on to “tube steak”, otherwise called baloney…..
Now, I am onto thin ham slices….

Yes, I sympathize. So if you and Holly are crying….

Remember: I am what I eat.

You could say I come by this naturally…..

The image will stay with me, you can be sure. Don’t know if that is good or bad.

What does it then mean when I self-edit? I have to buy butter?

    Not a good plan.

But you go ahead; I don’t tell other adults what to do.

Please post pictures. They will be MOST interesting.

I’ll post a picture tomorrow (Friday). No, if you self-edit, butter is taken internally.
