Two Blue Buildings, CoryDoors and Otherwise #ThursdayDoors

The first building houses one of the best lawyers on the planet: Maryland Austin. You know those jokes about how lawyers are razor-sharp and laser-focused on their client’s case? True for her. You know those jokes about how lawyers are humorless, heartless, and avaricious? NOT true for her.

And just look at her gorgeous building!

I love that almost-a-moongate on the porch! Very old building; very skinny door.

The other building is what one might call a fabrication, constructed by the project manager on a Corn Island Archaeology dig to shelter the pit. Not pleasant to dig in the direct sun, or in the pouring rain. But sticks + tarp = instant shelter. This picture was sent to me by #4 Daughter, the amazing Sara Marian, who was a “shovel bum” a.k.a. crew on this dig. Yeah — I have a daughter with the CIA. ~snicker~

Thursday Doors is the brainchild of Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire. Visit his site, enjoy his photographs, click on the blue frog link, and enter a world of doors (and associated elements).

A WRITING PROMPT BASED ON MY POST: Write about a moongate, in any sense of the term you can imagine.

I do like the occasional blue door and the blue occasional door. Good job on both!

That is a lovely house. I’ll take your word for it about your lawyer friend and keep all of my not-so-nice lawyer jokes to myself; though I’m sure she has heard them all many times over πŸ˜€
