CoryDoors-Habitat ReStore #ThursdayDoors

When we were clearing out Mom’s house, we took some stuff to the Habitat ReStore, a part of Habitat For Humanity. Naturally, I snapped some doors. I should have gone in and snapped some doors inside, but I was full of errands that day. So now I have an idea for another post! Yay, being busy that day!

Here’s the “front”. No entrance, but it looks like a front. Why does it look Southwestern? I have no answer to that.

Here’s the actual entrance. Bo-ring. But reflections. I don’t care what the reflections are OF, I just like reflections.

Along the side are squares depicting Corydon-y things, like Frank O’Bannon, local boy who made governor. My first best friend (now late) in Corydon married his father when they were both in their 80s.

Also: lights for Joey.

You can find your own Habitat ReStore on this page. You can donate, and you can also buy stuff. It all helps Habitat for Humanity, which totally rocks the world.

Thursday Doors is the brainchild of Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire. Visit his site, enjoy his photographs, click on the blue frog link, and enter a world of doors.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Buying used furniture.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.
