Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what? My little sister, Chickie, is SO BAD!
Momma got me a Kong, because I love them! I had a Kong when I was little, but I put it somewhere and forgot where it was. So Mom bought me a new one.
I was so happy! I played and played with it, and I’m a big boy now and never play like a little baby kitten. But I did with my new Kong.
Naturally, Chickie was jealous.

Then she put her paw on my forehead and pushed me away!

AND RAN OFF WITH IT!

Then she hid it, so I couldn’t play with it when she wasn’t watching!
But Momma found it and gave it back to me. Ha!
Then Momma punished Chickie by locking her in the bestibugle all night.
Momma: I didn’t. Chickie snuck into the vestibule when I locked the front door and I accidentally shut her in.
She’s been much more behaveish since then. Ha!
A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Did anybody ever steal your best toy? Did you ever steal anybody else’s? Did anybody get punished?

March 9, 2019 at 7:41amWe’ve accidently locked MiMi in closets. I hope Tipper’s joy made you feel less bad.

March 10, 2019 at 4:34amI fear Chickie will rule the roost once she’s fully grown. Poor Tipper. 🙁

March 10, 2019 at 9:38amShe’s ruled the roost since she first came here as a kitten! She’s a roughneck. She grew up outside in the middle of a bunch of brothers and same-age uncles. Tipper grew up pampered by his little boy and then, when his little boy’s mother turned up allergic to cats, pampered by me. He can wrestle her to a draw, but she’s boss.

March 11, 2019 at 4:58amI had no idea. No wonder Chickie rules the roost. I do feel sorry for Tipper though. He’s turned into a sweet little gentleman. 🙂

March 11, 2019 at 8:24amHe really has. It was so sad, yesterday: He was playing with his Kong, and he was playing as quietly as he could, so Chickie wouldn’t hear him. I’ll have to shut her in the vestibule and let him play freely sometime.

March 12, 2019 at 4:31amFrom what you’ve said, it sounds as if Chickie will always be the ‘boss’, but perhaps you can draw some lines in the sand when it comes to Tipper. Give him a big hug from me and my babies. 🙂

March 10, 2019 at 10:11pmI’ve never given my kitties a Kong! None of them! I think they’ve been deprived! MUST GET KITTY KONG!
I’m jealous you have a vestibule, btw.
Clara is always getting locked into places. She’s never naughty, just bad timing.

March 11, 2019 at 8:22amChickie has always done something that justifies my saying, “That’s what happens to bad kitties who [fill in the blank].” Waste not, want not. Our vestibule is not like the lobby of the statehouse or anything; it’s about six by six or sumpin. But it does have winders. I’ll do a Thursday Doors wif it sometimes. And DO get your kitties a kong! If they like it as much as ours do, they will be very happy.

March 31, 2019 at 12:09pmI like the idea of keeping drafts at bay, so 6×6 would work for me. We admired the vestibule in a house we looked at before this one, and I mean, we ADMIRED it. You’re lucky, ducky!
