It’s the first of the month, so there’s a new Hot Flash (micro-mini story) on my Hot Flashes page.
I usually post a sample from something I’m writing or something I’ve written on Sample Sunday, but occasionally I post an entire thing.
Today, I give you a poem I just writ:
Limericks for Reviews
There once was a woman who wrote
who felt she was drifting, afloat.
If you wrote a review
She’d be grateful to you.
‘Cause reviews are the same as a vote.
Reviews tell more people who read
if a book is worth reading, indeed.
It makes Amazon think,
“Hey! This book doesn’t stink!
Just, perhaps, we should pay it some heed!”
If you’ve read my book, Amazon
reviews are a breeze to put on.
Just star it for rank,
say, “It’s great!” or “It stank!”
I thank you. I thank you a ton.
Reviews other places are great, but Amazon and most book ad places only care about AMAZON reviews.
Here’s my Amazon page, listing all my books. Is a buncha-bunch. IF YOU’VE READ ONE, please review it. Pretty please with sugar on it?

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Someone grovels.
