Plenty of solutions out there, not just government ones. Many little people, many little places, many little things, right?
Cambridge has set up a research center (or, as they say over there, a centre) to spitball solutions other than reducing CO2 emissions, which is too little, too late. Some of their solutions sound pretty wild and drastic, but that’s where we are.
But according to Prof Callum Roberts of York University, approaches that are currently thought beyond the pale now have to be considered and, if possible, made to work. This is because the alternative of damaging and potentially irreversible climate change is considered beyond the pale.
Join the Climate Repair Reading Group to learn more about possible solutions and how to be a part of them.
Then there’s Project Drawdown. Go there. Yeah!
Project Drawdown is a global research organization that identifies, reviews, and analyzes the most viable solutions to climate change, and shares these findings with the world. We partner with communities, policy-makers, universities, non-profits, businesses, investors, and philanthropists to deploy climate solutions as quickly, safely, and equitably as possible.
