I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

    Mine are up now, too. I planted them about 25 years ago and they still bring a smile every February.

      We have some big, he-man-looking ones in the back yard, but these ones are almost ethereal. But the delicate ones come first, in the coldest weather, and the hearty ones come later.
