Doors of the Family Picture #ThursdayDoors

Talk about an odd family tradition: Just about everybody in my husband’s family has Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s Hunters in the Snow on the wall. I believe it started with my husband, who had seen the original in Europe and bought and hung a print.

Here’s a picture of the picture:

I went up close and personal to gather some doors for you.

Yes, all our daughters have the picture, too. #4 Daughter, the amazing Sara Marian, just moved to a new house and sent me a snappie of the new location of hers.

Nice.

Thursday doors is the brainchild of Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

    That’s a wonderfully door-full picture. Who’d have thought?

When the going gets canceled, the dooristas get creative. 😀

Now that’s a very creative take on things. I like the painting and also your family tradition 🙂
