End of Argument and New Free Mini-Story #1LinerWednesday

It’s the first of the month, so there’s a new micro-mini story on my Hot Flashes page. I wish I could tell you that this whole Covid-19 thing was an elaborate prank, but that is not the case. Be safe, y’all.

Now, I’ve talked about my grandpa before, and I may have left you with the impression that he was totally without stings or barbs, but this is not the case.

He had no patience with meanness or pomposity. My favorite thing was if somebody was intent on winning an argument and finished up a harangue by saying, “You have to admit, I have a point.”

Grandpa would say,

Yes, but if you comb your hair different, maybe nobody’ll notice.

BOOM!

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.
