FriendDoors – #Maysville The Final Few #ThursdayDoors

We’ve come to the bottom of the barrel for the Maysville, Kentucky doors, although the bottom of this barrel is good stuff. These may be my favorites.

I love down doors. Maybe this used to be a servants’ entrance, or maybe a wizard lives down there, or a starving writer.

This one needs some TLC, but what a great door!

Utility, glass, and class.

More utility.

Same doors, up close and personal.

And last but not least:

For sale. FOR SALE! Looka them arches! Looka them fanlights! Looka them chimbleys — one on each end! I think I see an arched dormer peeking out, too. ~sigh~ I’m in love.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: What’s behind that down door? Hmmmmm?

I love that factory, and the house. How much is it listed for? Address? I’ll look it up! I love looking at homes for sale. 😀

This has been a delightful barrel, Marian. These are wonderful doors. My fav is the second to last. That house that’s for sale is a beauty. I’m guessing it’s out of my price range.

I like that perspective shot, too. The kid has a good eye. Yeah, if that house for sale isn’t out of my price range, there’s something bad wrong with it.

Greetings in return! I agree about the wizard. I can almost smell the spellwork going on down there. 😀
