Dear Tipper Inna Window #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

Hi there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what?

Momma went down to the basement to do the laundry, and look what she found onna window:

One of the raccoon cats puts its paw right on my window! Momma says she’s going to call that raccoon Blair, but I don’t know why.

Momma had trouble sleeping night before last, so I stayed up and kept her company. She curled up on the couch in the dark with a cover over her, and I played with toys and wondered if she could guess what they were. Here’s a bee that I chased all around the house.

Chickie stole Momma’s camera phone and took this picture of me. She says it makes my butt look big, and she laughed and laughed.

But Momma said I’m a very handsome boy, and took this portrait to prove it.

You are indeed a handsome boy, Tipper. There’s nothing like wondering what the cat is doing to help us get through the night.

You ARE a very handsome boy, Tipper. And a nice one too. I’m glad you kept your Momma company, but I do hope you played quietly. Did she sleep eventually?

Alas, he did NOT play quietly. I did doze off a couple of times, and had a lovely nap the next day. I usually sleep well; I put on my CPAP mask, turn on the air, and zzzzzzzzzzzzz…… Every so often, though, I have a bad night, just so I’ll appreciate the good ones. πŸ˜€

I have the odd sleepless night as well. Very odd, thankfully, but…you wear a CPAP mask? Every night? All I know about them is that they force oxygen/air into your lungs. Are you okay?????

Yes, I wear a CPAP mask every night. I have sleep apnea. I either have to sleep with the mask or sleep sitting up. My setting is pretty low; just enough to breathe for me, if I stop. As long as Mr. Chandler works, I’m okay. I bought a battery for it, too, so it’ll keep working if the power goes out. I have a second Mr. Chandler to take with me when I travel. Why do I call my machines Mr. Chandler? Because Raymond Chandler wrote THE BIG SLEEP. Yep, that’s how I roll. πŸ˜€

Ugh, I’m so sorry to hear that you have sleep apnea, but I’m glad it’s mild and you have it under control. Roll on Mr Chandler. πŸ˜€
