Hewwo! Um, I’m Adi, okay?
EverMom went away and left us all alone for a hundwed years!
Chickie: Liar, liar, tail on fire!
Tipper: She went on vacation for ten days and #1 Hooman Sister came to feed us and pet us every day.
But I missed her! You missed her, too! And so did de deers. When she came back, dey let her go out onna porch and take a pitcher of dem. Dey didn’t run away until she was laughing so hard it scared dem.
Since EverMom wasn’t here, I got up onna Forbidden Nail Station and robbed a toy.
When she got back, I lurked inna cave by her gombuter computer chair.
She says dere’s a place dat recycles … e-wec-twon-icks … once a year, but dey missed two years because of somefing called a wockdown, so she has a bunch inna box. And she took a pitcher of me sniffing her metal desk because she likes my pwofile.
When she was gone, she met anudder cat! It was at a glass-doing place and it was 18 years old! Dat’s impawsible, but EverMom says it’s true.
At first when she came back, I was a wittle mad.
But I got ober it and just loved her being here.
She says she’s going to go away ober some weekends and maybe a longer time once a year, but #1 Hooman Sister and #2 Hooman Sister and #4 Hooman Sister Housemate (dat EverMom calls #5 Daughter) will come take care of us. I will still miss EverMom, but I guess once a year isn’t too bad.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Does your hooman go away for a long time? How does it make you feel?

October 19, 2022 at 9:35amI came home to find that Tipper had gutted his foam window seat pad, and quirpped it up onto the bed. Fortunately, I had put pee pads on the mattress, and that caught the goop.

October 8, 2022 at 7:31amGlad EverMom gets out once in a while – kitties can get awfully complacent otherwise, and it isn’t good for their character.
