Thursday Doors: Bullitt County Central Library

#ThursdayDoors #writingprompt

I’ll tell you what: I missed a good time last Saturday. We (Per Bastet Publications) attended the Bullitt County Authors Fair, held at the Central Library in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The good time I missed was touring the whole library. I didn’t know how frickin cool it was until I looked it up for this post.

Next time, Imma walk ALL around, but this time, we’ll make do with the snappies I made this year.

First, outside. This is across from the library. I love wockerjawed sheds.

Wockerjawed. Cattywampus.

I don’t know what this building is, but it is rife with doors.

Here’s the front of the library.

The only coolio thing I saw in my limited perambulations was the media lab. SO COOL!

The door had to take a side role to this display. NO, I haven’t outgrown my childhood adoration of dinosaurs. What of it?

So, next time, I will stalk the coolness that is the Bullitt County Central Library.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

The shed and that trailer look like they’re being sucked into a back hole. Maybe back to where dinosaurs roam free. Great snaps today, and I’m already looking forward to next year. I love libraries.

I love libraries, too. A whole bunch of family and I were walking around Cincinnati once, and we came to a library, and everybody was like, “We’re going in, aren’t we?” We did.

Libraries are fascinating wherever they are. I too love the dinosaures! I have never heard of a Wockerjawed shed before so I looked it up. Now I have a cool new word, thanks.
