Thursday Doors: Farewell To Country Club Plaza

#ThursdayDoors

These are the last of the door pics Sara took for me at the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. Guess I’d better get to snappin’!

I’m a tower, and I’m hella tall.

When our girls were younger, we loved taking them to The Plaza to see the Christmas lights! It’s a cool place but expensive shopping!

I can’t be sure, of course, but I think those bright white clouds are saying “Nyaah, nyaah, nyaah! We’re higher!” I love those lanterns and the scalloped edges — they kind of remind me of old rick rack.

      LOL! Smarty-pants clouds!

Rick rack! I haven’t heard that term for ages! Which is funny, because I have some nail art tape that’s shaped like rick rack. ha!

How lovely! My father grew up in KC. I always love heading to the plaza when I’m in town. Such an idyllic place to wander. The Moorish architecture is otherworldly.

Sara takes good care of me. On the rare occasions she works in the field, she says her co-workers always yell to her, “Here’s a door!”, as if they’d just found a prehistoric artifact. lol Hugs through time.
