Thursday Doors: There Can Be … Well, There IS … Only One

#ThursdayDoors #writingprompt

Dan Antion wrote about his trailer that was a combination of wood and steel, and I saw this one near a kind of a door, so OF COURSE I had to take a picture of it.

You can’t see it, but there’s a strip of metal down the middle, too.

I didn’t do a closeup of the little door, because I love the brick work above it.

I also took a picture of millions of geese who were taking over the joint.

No Parking

And I found this castle-y enclosure with a brown wooden gate (if this counts as a door, I have TWO this post). I’ve seen these before; they seem to be trash receptacle enclosures. Odd, that they should be some sort of standard.

These were outside my audiologist’s. My new hearing aids are working nicely. I had to turn down the volume on the tv and the car radio. So yay.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Geese

p.s. Happy birthday to me.

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

Happy Birthday to you. that trailer looks like the one I wanted to buy but couldn’t afford. I guess by now I would have been replacing the boards in that one, too. Gates are doors, but geese aren’t. Still, I like seeing them.

I just had to share the massive flock, especially the one blocking parking.
