THE MARVELS. I probably did a book review of this, because I love it, especially the first half. The first half of this enormous tome is done in drawings with no dialog, and it is MOST compelling.
Here’s the cover. The banner atop the crow’s nest says, “Either you see it or you don’t.” I’m calling the portholes doors, and the cover is a door to a mesmerizing story.

An open door can reveal a life or a crucial moment in time, as this one does:

Doors and windows.

The dog is important.

And guess who goes through a gate to where?

Doors are things of beauty in and of themselves, but what fascinates me with them is that they LEAD from one place to another, one scene to another, one box of reality to another.
