Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what?

Last Tuesday was my sister Chickie’s birthday! She turned seven! She’s a big grown-up cat, but she still acts like a pesty little sister.

It was her birthday, though, so I thought about what I should give her to celebrate.

I asked Momma, and she said, “You could be a better big brother.”

I AM a good big brother! I tease her and play-fight with her and won’t go into the catio if she’s there because it has sister cooties.

But after thinking about it a little bit, I decided I’d be a DIFFERENT kind of good big brother. So I started sharing the catio with her and letting her win some of the fights —

Chickie: I always did win some of the fights!

— and I told her she was a good sister and I’m glad I’m her brother.

Adi didn’t give her a present, but Momma let Chickie nip her elbow until she nipped so hard she left a bruise, and then THAT present was over.
