This strainer is what my grandpa called “a handy little gadget”. It’s billed as a Japanese style rice strainer, but I use it for tons o’ stuff.
Pasta, natch. Also salads that tend to get liquid in the bottom; I make the salad in here and, just before I serve it, I drain it and then put it in a serving bowl. I wash my socks — No, just kidding, I don’t wash my socks. I mean, I don’t wash my socks in this strainer!
ANYWAY, it’s very useful. Highly recommended.
It’s hot as blazes around here these days, so I painted my nails to match.
