Hewwo. Um, I’m Adi, okay?

It’s a little cooler now, an EverMom is leaving de catio window open again. But she got tired of telling me not to sit inna chair under de window an not to sit inna inside of de window so de other cats can’t get in or out.

I always got outta de way whenever she came an made me, but she got tired of makin me.

So she found a Terrible Engine an filled it wiff wadder an squirts me wiff it when I block de other cats.

De Terrible Engine

Den I started to be good. Dis is me unner de table, bein good.

She opened alla curtains up, too, so now I can sit onna couch an look outta de window. I like dat.

Oh, an one time I was bein good an Tipper hissed an growled an yowled at me, an EverMom squirteded HIM!

I don’t mind bein squirteded, if Tipper gets squirteded, too.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Do you ebber get squirteded wiff a Terrible Engine?

Ady is so beautiful. “De Terrible Engine” cracked me up — sounds steampunk. Hugs from the Scoobies and me.

Yes, I need a steam-driven Terrible Engine to automatically squirt bad cats so I don’t have to feel guilty. Hugs!

lol – I’m glad the Terrible Engine did its job. When Buffa was a teen-kat, he kept jumping up on the kitchen counter. None of the others did, they knew better, but Buffa was stubborn so in the end I squirted him too. Not sure he ever quite forgave me for the indignity but at least I kept my kitchen counters clean after that. 😀

My cats know better than to get on the table and counter, but that doesn’t stop their doing it if they think I won’t catch them. It’s like having three teenagers in the house.
