Did you know that a refrigerator door can get rusty?
My refrigerator started looking like it lived in a dump (shut up!), and the more a scrubbed it, the worse it looked.

So I bought a can of Rust-Oleum and some foam brushes. I put down an old tablecloth and went to work.

I don’t know if you can tell, but that brown at the bottom and along the edge — that’s a reflection of the floor. That’s how shiny this is.
Yes, I slopped a little onto the cabinet, but I was very proud of myself, nonetheless.

September 12, 2025 at 10:17amIt really is amazing. I couldn’t live with that grubby-looking door, especially since I knew it wasn’t grubby, it was over-washed. It felt good to “pull maintenance”, as Charlie called it. It was like I was claiming the house as my own.
