Food Tuesday: Tomato Chicken

#FoodTuesday #writingprompt

So I had all the ingredients, so I made a tomato stuffed with hot chicken salad. I got the chicken salad recipe from my pal Pat Stackhouse. You can find it on my Recipals page, but I’ll say here it consists of cubed cooked chicken and an equal amount of sliced celery, mayo, salt and pepper, onion powder or sliced green onions, toasted almond slivers, and shredded cheese. Heat it, and it’s hot chicken salad. Don’t heat it, and it isn’t.

I flowered (not floured) the tomato and heaped the salad on top.

Very delicious, and colorful, too.
