Everybody who stands still long enough knows that one of my favorite books is Jerome K. Jerome’s THREE MEN IN A BOAT (TO SAY NOTHING OF THE DOG). Well, this year, Sara bought me the same author’s THREE MEN ON THE BUMMEL. (The links are to free copies courtesy of Project Gutenberg.)

So far, I have been amused. I am well into Chapter 6, nearly halfway through the book, and they haven’t gotten on their bicycles yet (they are going on a bicycling vacation).

This past weekend, my publishing partners and myself went to Purrs in the City, an event for the benefit of shelter cats, selling books. So my nails needed to be appropriate.

The background is a beautiful blue (pretty sure it’s blue), stamped with gold, green, dry-brushed white, and red clawmarks.

We did well and a fine time was had by all.
