Good Advice for Anyone

I’m sending you to Jim Butcher’s blog for great advice. Whether you’re a generally struggling author, a NaNo sufferer or anyone facing a long hard row to hoe, this is the advice you need to read and heed. Here it is at Goodreads and here it is at LiveJournal. All his other entries are specifically writing-related, but anyone can take this entry to the bank of Who Am I And What Am I Doing.

Me, I’m going to take the advice, myself, and put my butt in that other chair — the one in front of my NaNo project.

See you tomorrow!

WRITING PROMPT: Give your most difficult character a pep talk. How does he or she react?

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

Hi. Thanks for the Jim B. pep talk. I’ve been wondering what I’m going to do when I grow up, and I’ve pretty much decided now not to grow up at all. 🙂

Thanks for the advice. I’ve joined but I haven’t started yet, still trying to complete the last novel.

I admire and am in awe of bloggers who crank out a blog post daily. As a professional writer I’m so busy writing other people’s stuff that I have trouble getting to my own. I will turn to you for inspiration!

You’re very kind, Jazreel! I think I may be addicted to blogging. If I could count my blog posts toward my NaNoWriMo word count, I’d be way ahead of myself. lol!
