Let me introduce you to Context, a local speculative fiction convention held September 26-28 at the Holiday Inn in Worthington, Ohio, just outside Columbus. This inexpensive and friendly convention focuses on the appreciation and craft of science fiction, fantasy, and horror writing.

Nearly sixty panels and events are included with admission. This year’s guests include Pushcart Prize nominated poets, Stoker Award winning novelists, Hugo Award winning editors, scriptwriters for video games, and writers for comics from Marvel and IDW. For an additional fee, guests can register for in-depth workshops on a range of topics including Self-Editing and Revision, Writing for YA Audiences, and Outlining Novels.
