Today’s one-liner is a puzzle Mom got a kick out of. I can remember when she first put it before me and challenged me to figure it out. It tickled me.

It wouldn’t be a puzzle to kids today, though. As a departed friend of mine used to say, “Ain’t that funny?”

Got the wise, but missed the ‘too’ – so I didn’t get the full beginning. Rebuses are fun – if you can go back and forth from written to spoken. They can be very frustrating if you can’t get both modes to work together.
