I should be getting used to being on my own by now! If I knew how to work the phone, I would make prank calls and laugh and laugh.
Yes, MomGoth is gone again this weekend, to Context in Columbus, Ohio, this time. But MY MOM was gone for three days!
Mom was in the hospital! She had “a touch of pneumonia”. Mom gets what her doctor calls Silent Pneumonia: She doesn’t cough or wheeze or crackle in her lungs or run a temperature. That makes it really hard to know she has it. She caught it early this time, so she didn’t have to stay in the hospital very long, and now she’s home.
I missed her. And now I miss MomGoth.
I’m going to sit in MomGoth’s chair and get hair all over it. We’ll see how she likes that, when she gets back! Ha!

September 27, 2014 at 8:57amI usually just bite them. I’m very direct like that. My mom Kat French (who is NOT a real cat OR from France despite that tricky name) was watching some show about a doctor with a phone booth, and somebody said “Biting’s like kissing except there’s a winner.” I agree with that.
Glad your mom is home.

September 27, 2014 at 9:49amMy boy Nicholas would beat his tail on nearby furniture when he was acting out, steady as a metronome. NB: He had a very sizeable tail, and his thumps had a loud, echoing quality when applied to large furniture items.
