My Oldest Dolls #ThrowbackThursday

Word is, these dolls are almost as old as I am, which is very old, indeed. The story I remember is that my long-departed father (not dead, just departed) sent them or brought them from Sardinia when he was in the Navy.

Dolls from Sardinia?

dolls from Sardinia?I keep the dolls in a plastic bag so they won’t get dusty and the moths can’t get to them, so they look almost like new, despite being veritable antiques at this point.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: A character has something that’s a keepsake from someone or something they don’t actually remember, but their memory is of having been told about the object.
