First, this is the beginning of the month, so I have a new Hot Flash on my Hot Flashes page. A Hot Flash is what I call a tiny little story of fewer than 50 or so words.
Just so you know (and in case you care), I play Minecraft Pocket Edition, Survival, Peaceful. I’m not very good at envisioning things and Making Them So; that means that Creative just baffles me. I enjoy the challenge of finding materials and avoiding death by lava. Long-time readers know that I’m not always successful in that. I also drown a lot. And sometimes fall from a high place. One of the first things I do is make iron armor, which has saved me from wolf attack and booby-trap arrows.
Yeah, I play this game for fun.
ANYWAY, I’m really enjoying this particular world, for some inexplicable reason. Sometimes I play a world for a couple of hours, then I go, “BO-ring,” and delete it. Sometimes, I goof around in it for a long time. This one is being a long ‘un.
I showed you the outside of my castle. Considering how primitive it is, I ought to call it a carstle. Or maybe a big ol’ pile o’ rocks.
So now the inside. This is one of the entrances (ya damn right):
The workroom in the cave beneath the castle but high above the ground:
The windowless magic room, lit only by the glow of the enchantment table.
The whatever-you-call-it with no roof but tall columns and a “spiral” staircase to the next level above the magic room. Please note the DIAMOND BLOCKS peeking out at the upper right.
Looking down onto the roof of the Art Gallery. The little pink dot is a pig way down on the ground.
Inside the gallery.
Ai fink Imma change the carpet, maybe, because I got LOTS of different color wools.
Now I play sommore.
Posting today at Fatal Foodies on the lovely lunch Charlie made us.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOU: Send your main character to an art gallery. Or a castle.
