Excuses, Excuses #1LinerWeds

Writers are an ever-flowing spring — or possibly a bottomless pit — of one-liners.

This one again comes from a member of the Southern Indiana Writers Group.

I can’t write my children’s picture book on geometry because I lost my damn stencils.

This post is part of Linda G. Hill’s weekly blog hop, One-Liner Wednesday. If you have a one-liner or just like them, follow this link.

A WRITING PROMPT BASED ON MY POST: Have a character do something with stencils. Decorate furniture? Fancy up a t-shirt? Embroider? Write a ransom note?

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.
