You know how I mash up the titles of what I’m recommending for my Friday Recommends? What’s that? You say you don’t read my blog every damn day? Can’t say as I blame you.
ANYWAY, on Fridays, I recommend stuff and I mash up the names into a click-baity title just for larfs.
And this week’s card for Deal Me In was a heart, which means I got to read a story by Sue Gelber, whom I now lerv. I lerv her with oh so many hearts.
The story I read this week was
“New Programming for Fall Season: TV Mashups” by Sue Gelber
My favorite may have been Love Boat NCIS.
When dead bodies start littering the Lido Deck, the crew turns to US Naval investigators for help. Because our research shows Betty White appeals to all demographic groups, she stars as Captain Stubing’s love interest. But is she really a cold-blooded murderer? Slated for the Saturday 9pm time slot, it should be a strong lead-in for CSI Fantasy Island at 10pm.
Yeah, I would actually totally watch that!
Incredibly, they get funnier as she goes along.
