Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what? My little sister Chickie is so selfish! Poppa made US a cat tree kind of thing, and she won’t let me play on it!
Momma puts me on it and tells Chickie I’m allowed, but Chickie isn’t a Good Listener.

Sometimes I check and see she’s in her house (she won’t let me use that, either).

And then I get on the cat tree thing.

Then she comes and smacks me until I roll over and fall off!
So I made up my own cat tree thing. There’s only room on it for one big boy. No selfish cats allowed.

But my favorite place is always there for me, and Chickie can’t chase me away.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Do you have a selfish animal in your house?

February 23, 2019 at 3:19pmExcuse me, what blasphemy is this? A CAT listen to a mere huumaan?
One begs your pardon.
Cats COMMAND. Dogs Serve. (And they do so very well.)

February 23, 2019 at 4:20pmIndeed. Lesley and Noella, are the “Let me run things!**” type. They are very good at it. And Buddy the cat, well, he holds dad’s heart in his paws.
** They claim that have more experience, are smarter than me, and are better at it.
NO COMMENT!!!!

February 23, 2019 at 4:05pmWell that’s just rotten, Chickie! You can only be one place at a time! All my kitties are shareful of spaces.

February 24, 2019 at 5:34amOh poor Tipper! I guess sibling rivalry had to raise its head eventually. I think a certain Poppa should make two more tree things. That way there’s always a spare that Chickie can’t ‘defend’. 🙂

February 24, 2019 at 8:47amLOL! I doubt that’s going to happen! Surely she’ll get over this once “the new wears off,” as my mom used to say.
